Oh nonsense! As I stated earlier cut the crap. I have an academic doctorate and am very familiar with disagreements in the professional world. I have already investigated Dr. Hammesfahr at www.quackwatch.com, and could see through the pettifogging by opposing doctors.

perhaps so.

the purpose of annulment is to legally erase the marriage. It is very difficult to do in fl, judges prefer a simple divorce path. (I have only done a handful of anulment petitions, all were marriages of less than 6 months.)

If misdirected, I appologize.

If her husband was killed in an automobile accident on the way home this evening who becomes Terri's caretaker and does it change the issues at hand in the courts ?

I just though a little legal fill might be good FYI.

Thanks so much, longtermmemmory!

This "resoultion" will lead to Terri S. starving to death, as sure as sunup!
I'm not convinced that would be the wrong result.

Terri S. may technically be alive, but it seems like she's not much above vegetable state, if at all.

Let's see, two neurologists who examined her disagree, and 32 others who have seen videos also agree she is not. Your pro-death view of life is very obvious.

Whatever. It looks like this will be over pretty soon.

What is there in your soul that countenances the death by starvation of a defenceless woman, a process to be prosecuted if done to a dog?

As of now, and until the American people rise up and say, "Enough!" we DO belong to the courts.

It's not the way the Founding Fathers intended it to be, but it's obviously the way it is......because right now a handful of judges have determined that Terri Schiavo's life is not worth saving, even though the American people, through our REPRESENTATIVES and our PRESIDENT have spoken up for her.

It's pathetic.

Except for that pesky SOUL she has, that separates humans from animals and vegetables.

Oh I forgot.......you don't believe that humans are created in the image of God.

Makes the argument simpler for you, doesn't it?

Ok, what we need right now is an old fashioned revolt against the judicial system . . but BEFORE Terri Schiavo dies. How? Please don't tell me that it is impossible.

At what point does a person's soul leave their body? Just because someone's heart is still ticking doesn't mean that they're really alive.

I won't tell you it's impossible, because I believe with God all things are possible.

What can we do? I'll do it.

Since you don't believe that we have a soul, what would be the point of my answering your question?

Even if I knew the exact answer to your faux inquiry (which I don't), you wouldn't take it seriously anyway.

All I know is that there is a person inside that frail body. And it is not up to a judge to say that life can be snuffed out.

I think the soul enters the body at conception, so I guess that would mean that the soul leaves when the physical body is dead. There are three things that determine death. Heartbeat, brain waves and respiration. I think those are the three criteria. Terri has all three in her favor yet, but still they starve and dehydrate her to death. I believe her soul is still with her.

Oh, I absolutely believe that Terri's soul is still there. She is very much alive inside.

I'm not as sure about someone who is actually brain dead, and whose heart is being kept pumping artificially.........but those characteristics aren't true of Terri at all.

I also agree that the soul enters the body at conception. There is Scripture to back that up, for sure.

(Modernman wasn't asking the question because he wanted to know what I thought. His question was designed to entrap).

No. I've seen you at work on the Crevo threads.......not much 'mind reading' needed here.
