Anima:
Main Entry: an·i·ma
Pronunciation: 'a-n&-m&
Function: noun
Etymology: New Latin, from Latin, soul
: an individual's true inner self that in the analytic psychology of C. G. Jung reflects archetypal ideals of conduct; also : an inner feminine part of the male personality

PET scans show the soul?
Wow.
Technology has advanced even further than I thought.

I had no "rehab".
I am doing great, thanks to God and my own will and desire to "rehab" myself.

It's "real white of you" [fascinating choice of idiom, that...very revealing] to presume the state of my soul, vis a vis the Schiavo travesty.

I added the "repent" bit to state that *I* would allow for and duly admit my mistake in judgment, should there be any.

You, however, seem to to have already adjudicated the case to the benefit of Michael with no allowance of error on your part.

You are in error that this doesn't "impact my life at all".
If not for a miraculous turnabout, I could have been Terri.
This will impact us -all- in the long run.

Some are cursed with foresight.
They are those who understand the import of what is happening right -now-.

And FYI, the PET scans do show which parts of the brain have electrical activity and and each of those parts correspond to a particular function, therefore, a PET *could* conceivably show how *much* and *which* of her higher functions remain and would therefore also, by scientific theory, show whether/how much therapy could conceivably improve her lot in life.

Of course, that depends on how accurate the "parts" theory really is because I'm living proof that -other- areas of the brain can and do assume the roles and functions of damaged areas.

Investigation vs "fabrication" is a moot point, now.
It seems very likely that the world's longest possible act of murder is about to succeed.

And Schiavo will never be "investigated".

So, you stick to your side and I'll stick to mine.

I know what the PET scan indicates, activity in repsonse to stimuli in specific areas of the brain. In a way, a guess the soul. I couldn't tell you where my electrical activity, I know that's EEG and EMG.
Wow, a Jungian. Odd here.
"Real White", less revealing than you think. Just a local vernacularism.
You and I are travelling in the same boat but our costs have been different.
People presume to know what my opinion is in this matter or how I arrived there.

I didn't realize that you were in a position like Terri or the young man I mentioned.

You really know what is going on and how someone can live
through an ordeal like this and be happy again, despite being disabled!

Maybe people that don't understand that there can be a good chance that Terri could be like you, need to understand that a disability doesn't mean that she should die.

If I can understand this why can't Ole whats his face leave you alone and go somewhere else.

Is he a doctor or what?

God bless you and keep up the good fight!
