RED LAKE, Minn.-- The FBI was called to investigate a shooting today at Red Lake High School that may have injured 14 people, according to police and broadcast reports.
Tom Lyons, chief deputy for Beltrami County, said the shooting occured about 3 p.m. at the school in Red Lake. He said that as many as 14 people were injured. He said he did not know if any of the victims had been killed. "We don't know that yet," he said. "Our information is just too sketchy right now."
KSTP-TV in the Twin Cities was reporting that six people may have died and many others were injured.

Is there a casino there? ..Just wondering!
It's a crying shame the MSM won't cover this.
I believe the reason is because it's Indians and some still think they are savages, terrible.
C
Maybe your one reason is part of it (very possibly), but imho, there was no eeeeevil "assault weapon" to bray about.
it is Indians....not savages....but.....Indian Reservations is NOT America.....it is whatever nation of indians this horrible thing happened in.
Ahh, it's the "Culture Of Death" we live in today. It's becoming accepted by the "enlighten" of society, therefore it's to be expected from people who are useless or their quality of life is substandard.
Pray.
I think it's great when MSM try to use gun graphics with the ignorance and simplicity of a bugs bunny cartoon. Like when they show an entire cartridge in flight - bullet still seated in the unfired shell but somehow it was supposed to have been shot from a gun.
In your graphic above, what appears to be a Colt 1911 is being fired, but the slide isn't cycling backwards, no ejected shell, just blam! ("hey man, put some fire coming out of the end of the gun it looks scarier that way!")
I think also that sadly some people don't identify with those who do not look like themselves. I think people tend to have more compassion towards those who resemble their children or families. Just a theory.
On an added note, it is being reported this morning that the killer's father committed suicide and the mother has a brain injury from a car accident. Sounds like the killer lived with his grandparents. (I'm not excusing him)
I'm certainly not going to excuse the little turd for what he did... However, I wonder when Michael Moore will start writing a completely fictionalized account called "Fishing for Red Lake"... I won't hold my breath though, as I know how racist the left wingers, and the media, are...
Nah, surely there's a couple more like you somewhere. ;)
Seriously though, if you honestly believe the lack of an AWB has anything to do with this, ...
just happened to be watching CBS. Scheiffer, or whoever fills the anchor chair now, sat there questioning the reporter over and over, "what kind of guns did he have?"
see my post 190. CBS anchor was obsessing over what kind of guns the killer used.
My response would have been: " The kind of guns you steal from your grandfather after you have killed him."
This is one of my major "hot" buttons.
It's also one of the most glaring examples of the of how the MSM slants the news, but it still pi$$es me off.
What I'm concerned with is a fear that much of the American public will not recognize this type of reporting for what it is...an attempt to subliminally influence the public.
Note to the MSM...It's the criminals, not the guns stupid.
Yeah mine too. The cool thing is now the jig is up. Everyone with half a brain now knows the games the MSM play. It's so transparent that it's downright funny sometimes.
Hold on there, Ba-ba-booie. To the extent that MSM doesn't cover it, fear is the reason -- or to the extent that they do, they'll downplay the Indian aspect. (Not that they should play it UP either, but you get the idea.) On the other hand, it's been all over the local news here in LA. (My opinion is that local TV news is politicized than national news and major newspapers.)
They're afraid that if they do mention the fact that this happened on a reservation, they'll be labeled racists. They're far more afraid of labels than violent criminals.
Apparently I was wrong. I spent most of my time in front of a computer. Makes me wonder how much I've missed in other places.
It looks like the attack was pre-meditated, and that he toyed with his victims. It comes close to, if not, evil.
"News now reporting EIGHT dead. How many died in the Colorado School Shootings? That was ALL over the news. This is not."
This case does not work for the grabbers. The kid got the weapons from a cop and then killed him. He broke a score of existing laws and then promptly went to the one place safest for a nut to go on a rampage, a school.
No, not a good case for the grabbers. A few adults armed at the school would have ended the situation.
