Of course, the real problem is that, for all of its bluster, Congress simply punted the matter to the judiciary. The fact that the judiciary may not be on the same playbook as the House/Senate GOP was always a real possibility.

I hope you go to bed every night with a satisfied feeling thinking about all of God's precious little babies put to death because of respect for "your laws". When God's laws are enforced there won't be any need for smarmy elitists of liberal democracy like yourself.

The "rule of law" has allowed 40 million innocent deaths in this nation since 1973.

Dear ClancyJ,

Proof? The judges are out of control. They have appointed themselves the Supreme Legislators of America. That is judicial usurpation. The evidence?

This case is replete with evidence. And it isn't the first, second, or third. How about if we start out with the judicial brushing off a Congressional subpoena?

Frankly, the judiciary has acted with such raw lawless power that that the president and governor are justified to use force against them. They are lawless traitors.

Did find the testimony yet but I found this when I googled Dr. William Hammesfahr testimony.

Criminal Investigation of Greer for Prejudice and Judicial Misconduct

1) Refusal to hear credible testimony

Judge Greer refused to acknowledge testimony of 10 doctors and 3 nurses who have cared for Terri and who testify that:

a) Terri is not in a persistive vegetative state

b) Terri is able to be rehabilitated with care and therapy

c) Terri’s original injuries are questionable and consistent with spouse abuse and attempted strangulation

d) Terri has been abused and neglected by her husband; denied treatment for infection and possible attempted murder while in nursing home care (discovery of empty insulin vial and temperature in room set at 64 degrees)

Jude Greer instead chose to believe contrary testimony by two of Michael’s representatives who are:

a) A doctor who rarely sees Terri (Dr. Gambone who has now resigned as Terri’s doctor)

b) Ronald Cranford, Hannipeg County Medical Center , Minnesota who makes an avocation of testifying in cases such as Terri's throughout the country, always on the side of dehydration and starvation.

Example of testimony ignored:

Dr. Alexander T. Gimon, Clinical Neuro-psychologist, presents evidence that Terri Schiavo does indeed have cognitive function and should receive therapy: "Given the neglect which Terri has suffered...it is striking that her current cognitive functioning is as strong and varied in expression as it is.

This indicates that sufficient brain structure exists for further cognitive and behavioral progress to be made.

Terri is an excellent subject for a variety of cognitive treatment protocols designed to improve her neurological function, including neuroaerobics, physical therapy, recreational/occupational therapy, and speech-language therapy."

Oh, and although it's not a singular instance of arbitrary legal action of whatever kind, it is quite remarkable for being an Act of Congress.

I sense that this vile spawn of Clinton judge has decided to allow Michael Schaivo to put Terri Schiavo down more cruelly and callously than the State of Florida allows its animal control officers to put down a rabid dog.

Judge Greer has had Terri in hospice for years; from what I understand (not a lawyer!) that's not legal.

And just where has that gotten Terri.

Hungry.

With all the questionable things going on, if the judge cannot see something can change during a new examination of the relevant issues.....

Well, my view is that Roe v Wade was a perversion of the law.

You do know that "Dr." Gimon is not a medical doctor, right?

I oppose abortion and I support Terri Schiavo but if I have to I'll die in the streets myself to stop idiots who want the army to cause bloodshed to enforce "God's law" in violation of the rule of law in this nation. Those views are Un-American to the core. I'm sorry if you are too ignorant to understand that an army general taking the streets to enforce a dictator's view of "higher authority" is not going to establish God's law anywhere. When they haul you in to be shot let me know which court you'll appeal to then.

Sometimes, of course, it is necessary to use substantial force to put down rebellion. I seriously doubt it would take more than a couple of US Marshalls to pick up Judge Greer (if it came to that) to drag him before Congress to 'splain himself.

You do know he's legally blind, right? That means he's much less able than the average person to protect himself from the protestors. He needs federal protection now anyway.

The supposedly neutral system of justice in this country has been perverted by years of liberal appointment of activist judges to the point where a leftist social agenda is being foisted on the American public by judicial fiat.

Just to insert some perspective into this discussion: there are currently 447 Republican-appointed active federal judges, and 373 Democrat-appointed.

Statistic from the Federal Judicial Center

Folks, whatever the outcome, and I pray that the feeding tube will be reinstalled, we must remember all of the politicians who have maintained that Terri should die. We must never let the dems to be in this position again. I will campaign hard against any politician that has bemoaned the Congressional vote as wrong. (Hear that Ginny Brown-Waite) Let's keep Terri in our prayers and hope for the best.

Well, one reason is she's not someone trying to kill our soldiers.

Reason number two is she's not a cuddly warm doe-eyed furry creature.

Reason number three, and most likely the core reason they're so quiet is they realise this is about the ability for their government (and they do believe it will be theirs again, one day) to put down (literally, yes) 'useless' people who will use up 'their' resources.

This is a test case.

As was Waco and Ruby Ridge.

One step at a time. One step at a time is all it takes.

...and her husband-in-name-only should immediately be suspended as guardian and not allowed to see her until things are throughly investigated.

This has been thoroughly investigated for seven years now!
