N. Korea Says It Adds to Nuclear Arsenal

SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korea said Monday it has increased its nuclear arsenal to help prevent a U.S. attack on the reclusive communist state, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported.

"We've taken serious steps of boosting our nuclear arsenal and we are also prepared to mobilize all of our military force against any provocative moves by the enemy," Yonhap quoted the North's state KCNA news agency as saying.

It was the first time that Pyongyang actually said it had boosted its nuclear weapons programs -- it had said last week it may increase its arsenal to maintain a balance of power in East Asia and help prevent a U.S. attack.

The Dems, led by Clinton cheerleader and author Nancy Soderberg, will be ecstatic.

I'll believe that little turd when I see a mushroom cloud. After that, he and his rancid cult will be only a bad memory.

IMO, his people aren't smart enough to make or deliver the big one.

It's a bad bluff from a little troll. He likes the media attention. Probably subscribes to NYT.

Maybe a little provocation (Rice visiting the HQ bunker in SK, for example) will cause them to mobilize. Let them sit there with their entire armed forces active and wither what resources they have left. As things get tighter then work with the UN on an embargo.

If you have none, you can increase it ten-fold and still have none.

I sort of believed that they had nukes but now?  Puh-lease!

Actually, I think GW should tell the chicoms that we are washing our hands of the whole affair. I would tell chicoms that it is their problem. No FOOD! No OIL! And no MONEY from us! And if that little fagot and his cronies think that they are going to threaten our allies in the area , Then we will provide them with their own Nuclear deterrent including Taiwan! Ready made and ready to deliver. Of course our provided tools will have the capability to reach mainland china and the russian territories.

I agree. They don't have squat. I would call their bluff on May Day. When they have their grand displays of military might and parades of hundreds of thousands of soldiers, shock & awe the hell out of of them. Wipe them out when they are at their pride. This will also send the message to China, loud and clear!

...Nuclear deterrent including Taiwan

Maybe, could be risky though. And we lose the "moral authority" to force other countries to not build nukes. Plus a collapse of NK and we, SK and Japan can rush in with the capitol needed to buy-up and revamp the NK economy completely out of ChiCom control.

I'm not too worried. When's the last time something made in Korea actually worked? =P

But seriously, show us proof and we'll start bom...cough...talking.

Sure they are. N Korea was the site of the Japanese nuclear program during WW II. They are not starting from zero, and they haven't been working alone.

I think his wardrobe reveals that, given the bomb, he’ll know how to deliver it.

Brainless twit has not figured out that now instead of conventional warheads, we are pointing Mirv Nukes at him now. In poker little Kim, it is not healthy to bet on a bad hand, someone may call you on it.

America CAN deliver, can you?

As an old "nuke" I'll point out that it takes a lot of ELECTRICITY to process and enrich uranium. The Northgooks do not have A LOT of electricity or anything else. It seems to me they might be good for a one day fight after which their corner of hell would freeze over. They have to be bluffing about n-weapons but their bluff should be called ala Saddam who shot his mouth off one too many times about how bad his quiver was.

Ahhh...see?...not everyone gets to have that UPS girl cheesecake they send to your house. This guy will probably replace our nice ol' Otis around here, when he retires. I didn't know that they deliver bombs though. Sorry me threw out my bomb catalog last week. Who knew.

Muttly pooched himself again.

Mr. So-Rohn-Rhee reminds me of an old-time stickup man, gesturing with his "gun" in his coat pocket and saying "Gimme your money or else!"
