Do these people seriously believe that removing the "dark tones" will lighten the move of the loved ones?

It's about honor, tradition, and respect. Stay with the blues.

LA Times = Latrine Times.

The Dress Blues will never go away. The Crops will continue to use them to notify the NOK.

I am saddened by this event. A Marine gives his life for us and it is not important enough to put on the blues? The blues show the importance of the event.

Didn't read the thing, I don't register with the likes of "LATIMES". But until the Corps does this, I've nothing to say, but I'll be E-mailing a first Cus who's husband , A Marine WO attached to Naval NCIS if this Crap is really in the mix.

If this proves true, How about all the former Marines on this board start a campaign to "discuss" this with the Commandant or the Sgt Major of the Corps?
