Faced with such a situation, a juror should openly declare to the judge and fellow jury members his belief in the unconstitutionality of the law in question, and be disqualified. It would be better, though, if the juror announced such views during the jury selection phase, saving money, trouble, and time.

Our system allows for challenges to the constitutionality of a given law, and furnishes us with the means by which existing laws can be changed. It happens all the time. The juror in question must be willing to accept the notion that he or she is no constitutional expert, and that he or she may be just plain wrong.

It's almost comical that some people are calling Gritz a "nazi" when he's trying to SAVE a disabled person from being "disposed of".

Now you know how I feel.

I don't care what his beliefs are at this point. What he's doing might be out of line, but at least he's doing something.

He was doing something that was against family (Micheal Schiavo) orders. Save all that garbage about MS being a repugnant puke for another thread. The fact remains that he is still married to Terri and by law is her guardian. Again, her folks and siblings are her next of kin. Micheal is her guardian.

Alot of people don't like that. Tough. That's the way it is. Don't be a Liberal and start changing the rules because things don't go your way.

"Changing rules"?

Reinging in a rogue pro-death judge and his kangaroo court is changing rules?

I bet the Jews, gypsies, invalids and Catholics in 1940's Germany wished they "changed the rules" before it was too late.

So why did he go and try to get through there first? Would have made more sense to go arrest Greer first.

Ya know, at some point you have to choose which laws you're going to obey. Man's laws or something better.

I have no sympathy for anyone who willingly go out of their way to circumvent the laws of this land, even for an act of mercy.

That's is the problem, we don't have enough men like our founding fathers who were willing to sacrifice all for freedom.

Ditto. And the Christian Identity movement is awful.
