So true. And they have fought so very hard for her.
I had the conversation with my daughter tonight. We both agreed that, given similar circumstance, we would care for the other if in Terri's situation.
I lost my dear daddy almost a year ago from cancer. The ONLY thing that helped me to let go was knowing that he was in severe pain, and was terminal. Otherwise, NOTHING would have kept me from caring for him for the rest of his(or my) life.
That is NOT the case with Terri. She doesn't have cancer. She does not have a terminal illness. We've all seen her smile. I feel such heartache now for her parents and siblings. They must feel so helpless. My heart and prayers go out to them.
