"The U.S. Department of Justice has also filed a statement of interest brief representing the interests of the Bush Administration and have also requested a preliminary injunction to restore nutrition and hydration to Terri."

Good, this strengthens the request by Terri's lawyers.

Folks, as relieved as we all are that President Bush and Congress pulled through last night - we need to keep in mind that the judiciary in this country is out-of-control.

If this new judge rules against Terri's best interests, the writing is on the wall!

And it is our duty to apply strong pressure to the president and the legislature to counter-balance the judiciary.

In this case involving Terri, the president can use the power of executive order as there has historically been flexible leverage involved in utilizing this approach.

If this judge flaunts the Constitution protecting life, liberty and happiness and if this judge refuses to give Terri her time to be seen and heard - and President Bush fails to act - we ought to all scream very loudly.

I love Bush. I voted for Bush. But I love justice. The best presidents are those with true grit to do what's right even if it costs them favor with an opposing party.
