Continuation of Terri Schiavo daily March threads. Due to overwhelming participation we reached over 5000 posts in three days time!
Not if you're "judge" Greer. HE CAN ORDER ANYTHING FELONIOUS AND IT'S OBEYED, EVEN BY THE GOVERNOR.
This isn't my country anymore. I pinch myself because I'm forced to sit here and watch a liar legally MURDER his estranged wife.
And I sit. The cops with the dogs are keeping people from this poor lady.... They're blocking the path for RESCUERS who only want to give her nurishment. They will arrest anyone who wants to cover her in protection! They will turn the dogs against the Christians - just like they do outside of abortion clinics.
No. If Terri dies, this will no longer be my country. And frankly, if anyone ever gets to Michael, I will cheer. I will sing and I will dance in the street! I just hope they only cause him major brain damage so he can see what it's like to lay in a bed and stare at the walls, at the mercy of whomever walks in.
Then I would hope his new chick turns off his feeding tube and he slowly and surely experiences the "peace" of starving to death while Felos squats on the floor and channels "spirits" as he sorts through chicken bones and hums his mantras.
Now I'm going to go take a bath.... Maybe that will get some of this dirty feeling off of me. I wish I was five and didn't understand what's happening in America. I wish I was any age but my age today. I've seen too many freedoms driven from our land and I feel so sick and so sad. If Terri dies she'll take a huge chunk of my heart with her.
It was filed at the 11th Circuit, today.
Polly, your hymn was wonderful!! And absolutely appropriate right now.
I see you used the Greer Redaction filter.
Okay, I'm about to sign off here again. The president's phone lines open at 9 am tomorrow morning, but of course emailing now is always an option. Here's one more way to apply pressure:
The president can write an executive order to get Terri into a hospital immediately. It is not breaking any law to do so. This action would not interfere with the judge. And since Greer already flaunted a Congressional subpoena his ruling is highly questionable.
Executive orders are lawful. They've been written by presidents ever since Washington on a number of different issues.
Contacting the president and ask him to write an executive order immediately. If you cannot reach him, then contact your state senators and representatives.

"I'm not sure we can get it done here in Florida," Martinez quoted (Gov.) Bush as saying just after a new Schiavo measure stalled in the Florida Legislature. "Do whatever you can federally."
This is the Governor of Florida calling for help. Any notion that the Feds have no Constitutional business there is malarky.
Oh, thank you Pollywog!
Amen, and Amen!
Yes, she was depressed when she told me that, too. I had to do the 'right' thing judge.
sick, isn't it?!
Bless you. Thank you for those timely words.
I wish Fox would get rid of Colmes.
Yes, please start a new thread.
Those words really moved me, Humidston.
I feel along with you.
If our president and the governor were taking action to protect Terri - which they can do constitutionally - I would feel differently.
But you're right.
They're all using us Christians like "useful idiots."
No, you'd have to LIE. You would have to say YOU HAD NO IDEA SHE WAS DEPRESSED. She'd never been to see a doctor about it. She wasn't taking medicine. Therefore, she was WITHIN HER RIGHT TO TELL ME TO KILL HER.
"At the 2000 trial, Greer, although initially finding Meyer's testimony 'believable,' concluded that the conversation could not have occurred in 1982, because he believed Quinlan died in 1976. At that time, Terri would have been only 11 or 12 years old and, therefore, would not have made her end-of-life wishes as an adult."
"The new motion contends it was Greer who was mistaken and not Meyer, because Quinlan did not die until 1985, about 9 years after her court case ended and her respirator was removed."
"None of the attorneys working on the Schiavo case in 2000 apparently noticed the mistake in dates, according to the Schindlers' attorney David Gibbs."
Amen. I've been thinking about that also. May the Lord be glorified in this!
AMEN!!!
In your name, O Lord,
do I lift up my hands in supplication.
Lord, the hour grows late,
and how dry the wind
that buffets our sister Terri.
Bring the cooling waters
that will soothe her soul,
refresh her body,
enliven her heart.
Guard her from all who would harm her,
and may she remain a sign
for all of us to marvel at,
a sign of how the weak and vunerable are also
precious lives to be protected.
Amen.
Amen to that! Think about all of the people that are expressing love and compassion for Terri...
Matthew 25:35-40
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
Then the righteous will answer him, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?
The King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.
Oh God. Watching that family absolutely destroys me! What a wonderful brother and dad. I pray they have the strength not to do what I would. I'm having very unchristian thoughts right now...
