Leo Govoni -- established Elder Care Alliance -- more of these seniors communities which keep croping up .. another place to house us baby boomers as we age. (Who gets postcard or special invitations to luncheons and dinners .. raise your hands -- we're getting heavily solicited, and it will continue to grow -- we're a market force).

Let's face it, many children today don't want to hassle with aging and maybe sickly parents, and they are marketing to that mentality of convenience. I'm not castigating all such communities, by no means ..my Sis found a great one for my Mom and watches them like a hawk. But there are many vulnerable seniors out here .... widows and widowers, maybe sickly, kids are spread to the far corners, and that they and their lifetime savings/investments could be easy targets, coupled with distant or disinterested children -- is a fact .. and $$ to some greedy interlopers.
It appears this Leo Govoni has capitalized on his guardianship investment success with Boston Asset Management and now taken a proven formula to another level -- communities of seniors. He also reaped enough to establish a professorship at Stetson Law School with $500K.. not bad for a relatively young guy.

I called Delay's office and spoke with a nice aide. He said the Leader was on vacation at his home in Texas. I urged him to please send the gratitude of millions for his courage and his actions for Terri Schiavo. I also said how sad this all was, and also asked if he had seen Carla Iyer on Fox this a.m, and he said he was keeping up with the news on this.
I like her. She is great, and her husband is a model for others.
They say he posted a sign at the foot of her hospital bed saying that she is a human being, treat her like one.
