Continuation of Terri Schiavo daily March threads. Due to overwhelming participation we reached over 5000 posts in three days time!
And Governor Bush. Under FS 415.1051, he always had the authority to take her into protective custody. What you're witnessing right now is a complete and utter lack of cajones. Time for these people to stop talking and start doing. If I could do it myself, I would.
The 11th Circuit is probably the second most conservative after teh D.C. Circuit.
What media is reporting this? I've had Fox on all morning and they've said nothing of the sort. Is the media that you're watching passing on what the Circuit court has said, or what they HOPE will happen?
If true, that is horrible. Why are they refusing to follow the law Congress passed and the President signed. This is a horrible usurpation by the courts, all of them, if true about Atlanta. There lies Terri, dying at their hands. There needs to be a revolt against this judicial tyranny over the legislative and executive branches.
When was the last time her parents were allowed to see her? Saturday or early Sunday.
Peter Johnson says at an earlier tube removal was deprived of last rites, and the court here has disregarded that claim.
Her being deprived of first amendment rite to exercise her Catholic religion...this is what pushed alot of the congressmen, even Jews.
He says the liklihood at Atlanta is probably no, there are no interlocutory judgements. The most important issue is, will you win this lawsuit, then we will give you relief right now.
Whittemore ruling states that she was given due process in state courts. Looks like he ignored the de novo aspect of Terri's Law.
Someone said: "And Governor Bush. Under FS 415.1051, he always had the authority to take her into protective custody. What you're witnessing right now is a complete and utter lack of cajones. Time for these people to stop talking and start doing."
Yes!
Contact both Gov. Bush and Pres. Bush!! It's down to the wire.
They DO have power in this case to DO more!!! MAKE THOSE CALLS! WRITE THOSE EMAILS!!
The president can write an executive order to get Terri into a hospital immediately. It is not breaking any law to do so. The judge can still take time to ruminate over this case. This action would not interfere with the judge. And since Greer already flaunted a Congressional subpoena his ruling is highly questionable.
Executive orders are lawful. They've been written by presidents ever since Washington on a number of different issues.
Contacting the president and ask him to write an executive order immediately. If you cannot reach him, then contact your state senators and representatives.

Exactly. and if Atlanta rejects it you have them all guilty of the same thing. See my post#3344.
Catherine Herridge reading the draft of the Judge's statements says the fact Terri had three guardians indicates she got due process and no constitutional deprivation.
And the family claiming Greer was not impartial, Wittemore rules agaisnt this.
970wfla reporting that Dan Webster does not have the votes to pass right now.

This will get appealed to the Supreme Court. With Rhenquist coming back yesterday, we may have a chance there. I don't know if his return is related to this case at all, but it's quite the coincidence.
Thanks for posting this: "Catherine Herridge reading the draft of the Judge's statements says the fact Terri had three guardians indicates she got due process and no constitutional deprivation."
This is JUDICIAL TERRORISM!!!!
The Schlindler family and Terri are being terrorized!!
If a foreign terrorist starved someone we'd call it a terrorizing action. How are these judges any different?
Do not count on the Supreme Court taking this case. They've done a brilliant job of avoiding it twice now.
And I would be right there next to you helping you do it!
I've thought the same thing Orlando...people need to turn to God and heal our country.
The Supreme Court as a last-ditch hope? They are as big a part of the problem of judicial tyranny over the legislative and executive branches as the rest of them. They are all in it together, if you look at the big picture, not isolate out situations here and there. Rehnquist could return just to act on an appeal, not to agree with it. Even if he agreed, he is most often in the minority. If not the 11th Circuit in Atlanta, a generally conservative court, what other court would give relief to Terri and her poor family?
Wittemore made his decision on a two hour court hearing, and based on that thinks he knows that there is not a good chance for the case to win, so he turned it down.
She hasn't had a swallow test since 1992.
PRESS RELEASE
March 20, 2005
Pinellas County, Florida
A Call to Action - Terri Schiavo is now over 91 hours without food and water.
We the people of Florida and the Southern States have called all decent minded people to attend a special meeting with Bernie McCabe, State Attorney of the 6th district in Clearwater, Florida. The offices are located at 13355 49th Street N., the phone number is 727-464-6221. Directions link http://statty.co.pinellas.fl.us/
Time and date are as follows...10:00 am on Tuesday morning March 22nd. We will meet in the offices of Mr. McCabe and present our strong desire for his office to charge Judge Greer with aiding and abetting Michael Schiavo in domestic violence against Terri Schiavo. We will be demanding to have Judge Greer removed from the bench as unfit and prejudice to preside over any case involving a woman in distress. He is a danger to all disabled women.
Judge Greer has displayed his contempt for the welfare of women in general, please read the following open letter from a former Lee County Sheriff. http://www.rense.com/general63/retiredsheriffspeaks.htm
We are inviting all Press and people of the Southern States who care about Terri, to attend this meeting. We are not asking for this meeting, but demanding it. It is time for the people of the South to take a stand for our Godly principles of life and liberty. We are not concerned with the Godless principles of those who place derelict judges in untouchable positions to rule over who lives and who dies! We will not be denied the right to rescue Terri.
Terri is able to eat on her own, follow this link. http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2005/3/20/102601.shtml
I personally talked with Terri's sister and was told that she is completely aware of almost everything going on. She shows emotions and can verbalize her feelings, in a difficult, but understood manner. Michael has denied Terri any therapy that could help her to regain movement or communicate. He has planned and executed the most flagrant act of Domestic Violence against a woman. Yet, he remains free and protected by judge Greer.
We ask that you sign a petition to impeach Greer... http://www.petitiononline.com/ijg520/ Also contained in this petition, are numerous "misdemeanor crimes" that Judge Greer has committed.
We are pleading with all civil minded people....come out and help us save Terri's life! When will we all take a stand? It will be to late when we are all shackled and face down in the dirt!
From Concerned Citizens
ps...we urge you to send this press release out far and wide.
Balderdash!
I know you would.
I was trying to think of a more shameful, blacker day in our country's history and couldn't come up with one. I have no confidence left in our leadership and no desire to stay here anymore.
