I have learned something tonight about Florida law that is quite chilling. The law was changed to allow hearsay evidence in the absence of a living will. And it was changed since the beginning of this case.
Don't remember which rep pointed this out, but it was after the change in the law that MS 'remembered' that she had expressed these 'wishes'.

Yes, you're right.
And Felos lobbyed for the change in the Florida law that included ordinary food and hydration under the category "extraordinary medical treatment".

If anyone is considering moving to Florida, they had better think twice. I didn't know the law had been changed for heresay -- heresay I thought was inadmissable in court -- well except for Florida it looks like!
