This is a truly historic evening. Our two political parties are now defining themselves in completely unambiguous terms in a completely partisan way. After tonight there will be no doubt about what these parties stand for or who their constituencies are. The Republican party is now the official defender of the innocent human life and the Democrat party is now innocent human life's declared enemy.

There are no longer any "moderates" on this issue, there is no political middle ground. I imagine that many people, including some here on this forum, will ultimately end up changing their party affiliation because of this. Life is now the defining ideological issue of our time.

Amen. I've never been prouder to be a Republican and never more disgusted at the Democrats. They should change their party logo from the jackass to the ghoul and just be done with it.
