Per Fox News...
Was not a game. I have been struggling with this like many others and wish to remain civil. I was agreeing. We should not throw terms like murderer around. Someone else had mentioned the Judge Greer was enforcing the law. I have been trying to see what law he was enforcing.
OK?
"But, what I can't and won't condone is his denial of access to Terri."
Because they use access to her to manufacture evidence to support what they are saying when in fact medical evidence is to the contrary.
What was his career before he went into nursing? I don't believe I've seen that on any of the threads.
All 9. Seems like a lost cause for Congress but we'll have to see.
Then she is a dead women in need of our prayers
What Congress did is just make a few people feel better.
I disagree .. Congress tried to protect her rights
I don't fault Congress for this
It should be interesting to see how much power Congress is willing to throw around once the Federal Court says "nuh-uh".
How fortunate you are.
Yes, I remember that. Of course, I do. But my point is that we don't need talk like that on these threads, but it doesn't seem to stop.
And I didn't say you called names. I was merely using your reply to me to get on a soapbox. :-)
I predict it will be over.
Her rights have been protected. Even the USSC said she was receiving due process.
I'm with you Lady.
"Manufacture evidence?" So what? Given that the tube stays out, and feeding is forbidden, the parents public pronouncements would be reduced to hysteria. And that bothers you exactly why? Whether right or wrong, it is their flesh and bllod that is dying. Do you advocate separating them from the daughter they profess to love?
I agree so what? But I can understand why he wouldn't want to be there when they are there.
The bastards!
It could possibly cause her to choke to death.
Well this is were we disagree .. Judge Geer (IMO) has major problems with regard to conflict of interest and his dealing with this case
And I could be wrong .. but I believe the USSC didn't hear the case ..
The bastards!
And so we return to where we started ...
Me too. But, what I can't and won't condone is his denial of access to Terri. That is different from asking him to interact with the parents. He can let Terri's parents spend time with Terri, without being personally bothered by interaction with them. Assuming he has his way, Terri will die soon. If the parents libel him, he can sue.
They refused to hear it.
