Wow. The guys are looking like real slugs lately...

This guy's a real jewel.
It's a shame she can't get her kidney back.
Maybe she can.

If I was the judge, I would give her the kidney in the divorce settlement.

Carol Jewell did not hesitate to give her husband, John, one of her kidneys when renal failure threatened his life.
But four years later, he showed his "gratitude" by running away with her brother's wife, Marilyn Edmeades, 52. They had a quickie marriage in Renal, Nevada.

"It's a shame she can't get her kidney back." I'm sure she'd prefer to have his jewels...in a jar on her desk.

I didn't see anything in the story about a leash.

Love is a funny thing. Maybe the guy saw death and decided he should be with the one he truly loved.
To: Libloather
Obviously she's a lot better off without him.

I know what I'd be doing right about now:
~Kidney Pie~
First wash the kidney well. Cover with cold water and let stand for about an hour. Drain. Remove the cords and all of the center fat.
Cut into small pieces. Now combine the bouillon cube and boiling water. Add the chopped kidney. Simmer for 20 minutes. Combine the flour and cold water, mixing well; add to the kidney mixture, stirring constantly until thickened and smooth. Add the cooked vegetables, and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Pour mixture into a baking dish, and cover with small baking powder biscuits or pastry dough. Bake at 400F for 15 minutes, or until well browned.

Ladies. Don't count on your husbands if you get ill. Women have support networks throughout their lives. Typically, men don't. They can't cope.

I don't think the "wanting organ" in Mr. Jewell's case was his heart.
