"Why so much terror about puting her fate into God's hands?"

On this issue, "...we are tricked into baring our souls..."

Cool Intellect: Debate Regarding Terri Schiavo

"...[they] don't realize that [they] are asking us to kill something inside us-- our soul."

Ah, I see, so if I should see someone dying, instead of giving CPR, maybe I should just declare that the person is "in God's hands" and continue on my way?

Don't eat a bite of food, and don't drink a drop of water for the next three weeks, just putting your fate in God's hands. Oh, why not just shoot a bullet into your brain--God will take care of you, don't you know?

If your sophistry about "putting her fate in God's hands" were to be accepted, you would have defined the crime of murder out of existence.

Denying a woman food and water until she dies of starvation is not "putting her fate in God's hands." It is murder.

Get the difference?
