How can anyone STILL be anti war? They were wrong.
There were WMDs, the NYTimes admited it. There were elections in Iraq, and all those leftist journalists are now writing "What if Bush was right" articles. What is wrong with these people? They are ignorant.
Their hatred of America is beyond logic.
This is a free country and everyone is entitled to their opinions, even if they are wrong. There was some validity in protesting the war before it started but once it commenced, there was no point to it. A patriot should of hoped and prayed for the best possible outcome, no matter what their questions about it before it started. Much good has come of this war and they should be down on their knees thanking God and not protesting. I agree with you, that it is a sign of their ignorance.
Their anti-American, that's what this is all about.
Because it's all they have to cling to. Their whole lives have been spent opposing the Right. If it turns out that a conservative philosophy is actually successful, that means they're wrong. So they simply live in denial and mumble the same old rhetoric like a catechism.

And that is the most irrelevant fact of all to them. Liberalism is a mental illness, and it requires a distortion of reality to support it. However, once that distortion is in place, then the world is wrong and you're not. You're secure in your insanity.
