This is a free country and everyone is entitled to their opinions, even if they are wrong. There was some validity in protesting the war before it started but once it commenced, there was no point to it. A patriot should of hoped and prayed for the best possible outcome, no matter what their questions about it before it started. Much good has come of this war and they should be down on their knees thanking God and not protesting. I agree with you, that it is a sign of their ignorance.
Everyone is entitled to his own opinion," "He is not entitled to his own facts." - Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan
What you have here, is people under the impression that they are entitled to their own facts. That's not true. I respect another person's opinion, but if they have the facts wrong they are wrong.
You're only entitled to an opinion if that opinion can be supported by some degree of factual data, reason and common sense. Quite a few who actually believe "everyone is entitled to their opinions" couldn't articulate the underlying logic and reason behind that opinion if their putrid, worthless lives depended on it. What's worse is, they actually believe everyone else should "listen". It is for them that my tagline was written.
Point of fact: There is no specific right enumerated anywhere that entitles one to an "opinion." You are entitled to speak freely; you are not immune from the consequences of that speech.
