ILLEGAL ALIEN INFLUX MAY HARM SECURITY (FOXNews 5 part Series, Part 1)

PHOENIX — This is part two of a five-part series looking at how illegal immigration affects U.S. border security, the criminal, health care and education systems, as well as the economy. Watch the series this week on FOX News Channel.

Many police officials in states along the U.S.-Mexican border say they are fed up with the number of illegal aliens populating American prisons, many of them incarcerated for violent crimes such as murder, rape and robbery.

Almost one in six inmates in Arizona, for example, is a Mexican citizen.

"It is a phenomenon that law enforcement recognizes as a major problem," said one undercover detective, who specializes in street gangs and goes by the name "Paco."

The third installment of this series focuses on how Los Angeles' public health care system is overwhelmed by the uninsured and illegal immigrants. Look for it on FOX News and FOX News.com.

Am wondering what ever happened to the pregnant illegal who was due for deportation and claimed her unborn was a citizen by way of being "viable life."

That is hardly the case. You would be one hell-bent American acquiring the understanding these "poor immigrants" have of our social service system.

After they span the border areas, you hit the anchor baby capitols and hell towns of the southwest. Entitlement areas ... I"M HERE and I "DROPPED ONE" (babies), more than likely several ... you pay me and I'm staying here ... OH, BTW, I'm sending for the abuela!

Or hows about, we make sh*t because capitalist American outfits hire us for slave (see 14th amendment below) wages even though we chose to make our way here illegally of our own accord.

The 14th Amendment needs to go down in flames. It's 100+ years overdue!

I agree that illegal migrants should not have access to schools or healthcare or other social services. And that its just corruption of the prison system that keeps Mexican citizens in prison inside America on the taxpayers dime.

I think that many don't factor in the tax incentive the government has to bring them in though. We are talking serious amounts of money, when you think it is probably tens of millions of people.

The border states, Texas, Arizona etc.. not only have Mexican migrants moving in, but also large numbers of Americans from elsewhere in the country migrated to those states too.

If all of the jobs were taken by the mexicans, and the taxes were out of control paying for the immigrants.. why would so many be moving to those states?

That being said I'm not a fan of illegal immigration, instead reducing benefits for all immigrants and easing the barriers to become a citizen.

Just doing the violent crimes such as murder, rape and robbery that Americans are too lazy to do.

That would actually be interesting to watch. Those on the left want illegal immigration but they don't view a fetus as a viable form of life until it is actually born. I would love to see there reasoning on this one.

I don't see why any of "our leaders" have a reason to be predisposed to Mexico.

Votes, and political contributions.

We need to demonstrate that they lose more of those things than they gain, when they sell out America.

If Americans won't do those jobs, then the pay will have to be raised to get ones who will. Our companies will be uncompetitive in the global market and fail, so they will go overseas. Americans will lose jobs and learn that taking those jobs would be better than losing their homes. I hope they can learn that lesson before it's too late and we have to go through the painful slide down.

I think I'm the only person in my office who knew the name of the hard-working Mexican who cleaned our offices at night, but unfortunately many of the immigrants I've seen are not like him. I used to scoff when a cowroker of mine said this would continue until they turned the USA into a third-world slum. Now I wonder if he was quite right.

But again, the blame also falls on the voters, who don't shut down the causes.
