I can definitely see the corollation to slavery-- I think the congress is trying to get this to the Federal level because Terri's CIVIL rights are being ignored--- and slavery was abolished becaused it was against their civil rights--
Terri's would be murderers, like the slaveholders, will never agree. They are obsessed with killing her. They must be completely defeated with no hope of every rising again.
