Anecdotal? Come on! And where is the reporting evidence? Produce it. Better yet, produce it for NRO, so they can retract what they reported on their website.

Found it on a search, and you will too.

I am not here to prove what has already been proved in courts and ok'd by numerous appeals.

It is there.

There is one article referencing scans in 94, and another in 2001 or there abouts.

There is also a copy of a scan in a newspaper account. A legit newspaper, not a Internet gossip column.

The acclaimed Dr. Hammershver(sp) or whatever, referenced a recent MRI in his written assessment.

So just go look for it yourself. Stop claiming these lies and distortions are true. Because they are not.

For God's sake, have three Dr.'s go in, examine her and come out and report their findings. How freaking difficult can that be.

Ah - therein lies the rub. His supreme self-declared God, Judge Greer, has prevented this from happening.

Ok, well then, I hope you never have to walk in the shoes Michael Schiavo has had to walk in for the last 15 years.

That sounds like a frivolous legal argument to me.

It's Florida. They gave Hugh Rodham a license to practice law. Frivolous legal arguments rule the day. We have known since Elian what a legal cesspool the state is. I am just telling you what Michael Schiavo (we need a good freeper nickname for this POS) will argue.

This is well written (by a doctor)
- Dr. Bob is a physician living near Seattle

http://doctorisin.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_doctorisin_archive.html

"Euthanasia is the quick fix to man's ageless struggle with suffering and disease. The Hippocratic Oath - taken in widely varying forms by most physicians at graduation - was originally administered to a minority of physicians in ancient Greece, who swore to prescribe neither euthanasia nor abortion - both common recommendations by healers of the age.

The rapid and widespread acceptance of euthanasia in pre-Nazi Germany occurred because it was eminently reasonable and rational. Beaten down by war, economic hardship, and limited resources, logic dictated that those who could not contribute to the betterment of society cease being a drain on its lifeblood.

Long before its application to ethnic groups and enemies of the State, it was administered to those who made us most uncomfortable: the mentally ill, the deformed, the retarded, the social misfit.

While invariably promoted as a merciful means of terminating suffering, the suffering relieved is far more that of the enabling society than of its victims. "Death with dignity" is the gleaming white shroud on the rotting corpse of societal fear, self-interest and ruthless self-preservation.

It is sobering and puzzling to ponder how the profession of medicine - whose core article of faith is healing and comfort of the sick - could be so effortlessly transformed into a calculating instrument of judgment and death.

It is chilling to read the cold scientific language of Nazi medical experiments or Dutch studies on optimal techniques to minimize complications in euthanasia. Yet this devolution of medicine, with some contemplation, is not hard to discern.

It is the natural gravity of man detached from higher principles, operating out of the best his reason alone has to offer, with its inevitable disastrous consequences."

You don't know the facts Hildy, and everone here knows you don't know them.

You're just repeating long-refuted lefty talking points.

Pleasure to read your stuff.

You know I have a family friend whose child was born with severe disabilites, but a strong will to live, she's 37 now and has been cared for almost like a baby for her whole life. Her parents and kin love her, and you would never know from their demeanor that they have had this kind of responsibility, cross, as some people have called it, for nearly 40 years.

I do understand a person hoping they are never put in that position, but these people are such a superior caliber of human being, that you feel like you're in the presense of Saints when you're around them. They are made of nothing but Love.

She isn't brain dead. You are making an erroneous assumption. And thanks for not making your you-know-what part of the post.

WOW...I hate to resort to namecalling, but that had to be one of the stupidest things I've read on these boards, and I've seen some pretty stupid things.

You don't HATE to resort to name calling.....you LIVE for it. And what the hell are you talking about anyhow?

You really need to set down your mouse and back away slowly from your computer. The radiation is getting to you. You're a nut!!!

You don't know the facts Hildy, and everone here knows you don't know them.

I'd say unless you were Michael, Terri or Terri's parents - you don't have all the facts either.

I believe you are correct. And I recall reading where one of the nurses stated she would write notes in Terri's charts (which are legal documents) and they would be missing the next day.

I have been dealing with terminal illness in patients for thirty years.

I firmly believe that euthanasia should be illegal, and that "Dr." Kervorkian was a serial killer.

However...

There is a reason that no physician (other than Dr. K) has ever been convicted of murder or manslaughter in an actual case.

That's why there are juries.

You know they asked Christopher Reeves if the plug should be pulled and his wife said no way.
