Just heard on Fox that U.S. Senate will convene today in emergency session regarding Terri Schiavo.
Thanks, the house is exempt. Where does OJ live?
What reason did he give, if any, for not allowing for the basic care you mentioned, like brushing her teeth, etc? I mean, if it's true, he's a PIG of the first order.
LOL! How appropriate that they should choose his lawn to live in!
You cannot consent to be murdered.
If removal of a feeding tube is murder, then there are hundreds of such murders every day, and a legislative solution to the Terri Schiavo case will MOST CERTAINLY void all so-called "living wills".
Is that a riddle or something akin to a Nostradamus prophesy?
Well, I hoped we would, but it didn't happen. A subpoena is a statement that you will comply 'under penalty' (sub poena). Now that a lot of people have not complied, we are coming to the penalty phase, when the prizes can really add up!
I'm sure he could live off himself for a long while but with nothing to "drink" he'd be in real trouble soon.
Yes, and that's only the half of it. Perhaps an even bigger issue will be what may happen to reign in the run-away judges. This may be on the radar screen.
No surprise about Kennedy..he's all for letting inconvenient women die.
"we are coming to the penalty phase, when the prizes can really add up!"
LOL! I like the way you think!
Good response TX.......
A marriage covenant is not valid ONLY in the good/easy times. Or when it is convenient.
Would I wipe the drool etc from my husband's lips...or clean him up as necessary should he be unable to care for himself? In a heart beat. And we've been married over 35 years.
So again, an EXCELLENT response to a rather self-serving and self-centered comment.
Yes. You know, the part that actually tests the vow? Unbelievable to me are the death squad proponents here. And I still can't get over the fact that her fate is being decided by a probate judge. That seems surreal to me.
Thanks, but my computer can't handle audio very well anymore. :(
Ah yes, Ted Kennedy the icon of the Deathocrat party.
I take it to mean that there may be more to come later on.
Excellent point. The State has the right to kill and has kept that right only for itself. The doctors who pull the tube are agents of the State.
I know--I'm surprised he didn't suggest strapping Terri into his car and driving it off a bridge. That's more his style than starving someone to death.
I would compare them, insofar as an innocent disabled person is entitled to AT LEAST as much legal protection as a guilty convict.
The Schiavo case is a civil execution.
Not at all. People can have opinions without your implication that God is going to damn them to hell for them.
I think one of the most important lessons here is: follow someone's track record, not the (R) or (D) behind their name! I'll be that many of those Floridians voted for Greer solely on that basis.. How many times have we done that ourselves, only to be sorry afterwards..
