Just heard on Fox that U.S. Senate will convene today in emergency session regarding Terri Schiavo.
What is the process of federal review? What if they get a federal judge they don't like or what if a federal court says the same thing as the Supreme Court of Florida?
God Bless Tom DeLay!
Oh goodie, another deathcult troll. How quaint.
Boy he sure did!!! Good for him!
Tom DeLay is the man. I love what he just said about Michael Schiavo. "What kind of man is he?" Even calling him a man is a stretch, IMO...
You're absolutely right. I would be very afraid if I were her.
Ripping his a$$
As Marcuse said, even the radical outlaws and rebels are incorporated into the Modern State so it is impossible to exist outside the State.
Ted Kennedy is a mental moron. He said the courts should arbitrate this issue. The law going to be passed is giving the federal courts power to review (the parents can still lose there) which is what kennedy wants.
By then she could have an accidental overdose of morphine. She needs protection.
Details please for those of us without cable.
About the voice vote... something about how the house is reconvened and calendared.
Some paper reported that but allot of people are legally blind. It doens't necessarily mean he is totally blind. In his situation he can't drive a car and things like that.
AMEN!
Choose ye this day.
I have a friend whose daughter was in a comatose state, but breathing on her own.
She told me the doctors were telling her that she would need to consider pulling the feeding tube. They held out little hope for her ever coming out of a coma.
She refused, and got her daughter all the therapy she could, plus she read to her, talked to her, gave her constant attention.
Her daughter made a full recovery, and is getting married this summer.
If what DeLay is true... she won't get hydration until Mon at 12:01 a.m. so the house can do a voice vote
That's what it sounded like. What other means until then are there to get her fluids?? Can the Governor or President or Attorney General do this??
"About the voice vote... something about how the house is reconvened and calendared."
But this is an emergency. Can't they skip the formality when someones life is at stake?
Delay is a strong person and it is good to see him finally emerging as such in his leadership position.
I learned a long time ago that some doctors think they are all knowing. Always, always, always get second opinions. They are only PRACTICING medicine.
