I want that little arrogant midget made an example of! The representatives of "We, the people" need to scorch his ass so bad that all the other black-robed mini-gods start fearing their real bosses, I.E. WE, THE PEOPLE!

"Greer needs to be dealt with - but is there any way of doing it besides the contempt of Congress charge? Just curious..."
Well, I suppose he could be impeached or (if elected) defeated at the polls or recalled from office...
those whould be the only LEGALLY PERMISSIBLE options I could think of...

My question is: what is actually going to come of this though? What are they going to do (in time) that will re-insert the tube ? I'm not trying to be a pain here, I just want to know if this will have any direct effect... we thought the subpoenas would work because you can't tamper with a federal witness... why should anything else work if greer is just going to ignore it, and Jeb won't use actual force?

Where are all of the feminists who preach about women's rights? Now they are silent while her bigamist husband has the say over Terri!

After doing what it takes to save Terry's life, they should declare Judge Greer in contempt of Congress and haul him up to D.C. in chains. This is very likely to happen. Stand by. Very large things may be about to happen.

Terri didn't have a living will.
She has a husband who wants her dead.

Those are valid questions.

They stated she could live as long as two weeks with the tube...

Hopefully it will be the Senate adopting the House Bill. Better language. Sensenbrenner was right to hold up a change in the House bill.
To: OneTimeLurker
I believe that this won't affect the wishes of those with a living will. It's for those people who's specific wishes are unknown.

God bless Tom DeLay, Steve King and the others like them in Congress.

Particular those with living wills? Is this the federal government's business? A good question - I do wonder that if Congress (the Federal Gov't) does act to stop this....will they set precedent that also stops other peoples own decisions via living wills -
Or will it be so structurally worded that it is only for this case (with the idea and explicit statement of setting no precedent)
To: OneTimeLurker
No, just people in a schiavo-type case.
Why is it all or nothing with the pro-death crowd?
