Arresting the child was ridiculous. No, arresting the child was NOT rediculous. Schools and teachers (and the other innocent 5 year olds stuck watching this) have no other options open to them.
Imagine what this kid will be like in middle or high school!

So now the police are being called in every time a child goes out of control.
Stupid isn't it.

I still remember when I was in elementary school, my parents would tell my teacher every year, in my presence, that he/she had their permission to use corporal punishment on me if I got out of control. That permission worked wonders in helping me control myself. :-)
