Kid wound up in a very good rehab hospital.
His poor body was so broken my heart broke for him.
He had not an ounce of bitterness in him. Said he forgave the guy that ran over him.
He learned to feed himself and could sit on the side of the bed unassisted. Don't know if he would ever be able to walk without a great deal of reconstructive surgery to his back and pelvis.
Doctor might have had a few minutes of embarrassment but I don't think it ever went any farther.
Frankly, I'd have sued his butt off .
