I heard that today from a nurse that works with the dying. Morphine them up.

Keep calling, Faxing and E-Mailing. And praying. Unless able to get to the hospital this is what we have at our disposal as much as it doesn't feel enough. If she's murdered this is only going to escalate and they had better damn well know it. This will not end with Terri. Make sure they understand this fact crystal clear. All their skins will be targeted if they don't stand for Terri.

If the reports about some comments made by Rush Limbaugh are true, the situation now, appears to be, that the Congress is extending its jurisdiction from the national Capitol, and agents assigned by the Congress, are scheduled to arrive in Florida.

Judge Greer would then directly face the Congress, in effect, at which point, he may or may not show contempt for the Congress.

The issues are two:

1) Does the Constitutional power to decide that a person is to die, include a privilege of government, that it remain immune to the result of following due process to the point of affecting the death--- does the government have the power to order death by due process in cases not involving capital punishment?

2) Is there sufficient evidence that a majority of medical experts may agree upon, that the patient was subject to some trauma accounting for her structural injuries, that are revealed in some previous tests, and may be revealed in further tests; and therefore, that she may be found to be the victim of foul play, about which, therefore, her fate of death, ordered by the State of Florida, would be repugnant to the foundations of our Constitutions --- that in life and death cases, especially those in which the order affecting death is not punishment for a capital offense, we should not permit any miscarriage of justice?

You can pray. People are emailing and calling congress. But in my opinion, I think you should spend a moment at my profile page. I have it soley dedicated to people who are weeping right now. Maybe you'll feel better.

Love your screen name.

WABC plays on realPlayer...I'll have to miss it but DeLay will probably say the same thing as he did on hannity and Hewitt.

I'm listening to Savage right now.

"My husband is so livid about them removing her feeding tube that he's having a hard time containing himself."

I don't blame him. I have had a hard time focusing myself after I left the thread earlier to make dinner and attend to my family. Which I have to do from time to time. ;)

My husband came home and he's not following this at all, and he can't really understand why I'm upset.

I have to say, though, it has made the AM radio news broadcasts up here. For what it's worth, which is zero. zip. zilch. etc... :(

"This is murder!"

Intentional, premeditated and legalized murder.

I quit watching Fox more than a year ago: don't care for their network boosterism of their own egos. No longer watch Hannity and Colmes -- too many commercials.

Not today, I've had a busy day, not able to stay here for very long at one time.

She came to Florida to the Terri Rally and it's my understanding that she spoke to the Florida House and Senate. (at least one of them).

Did you know Terri cried out today when they told her the feeding tube would be removed?

MARK just broke away from the interview with Delay. The creep who they have in custody just admitted to killing the little girl in Florida.

His GIRLFRIEND was allowed in that room? The thoughts I'm having now.

Maybe Greer would like to be denied his bread and water. We'll see how long he lasts.

DeLay: "This is the most barbaric thing I've ever participated in. Florida law protects animals more than Terri."

He's a good man, but he has not done his homework on this case. We have known on this forum for years that the case reeks of evil and barbarism. I think Tom DeLay (called "The Hammer" by the Democrats) can be even naive when confronted with the intentions of the liberal opposition. He's really a "softie," not a "hammer."

I loved your home page!

And as for this:

"Those who live at the mercy of others deserve our special care and concern. It should be our goal as a nation to build a culture of life, where all Americans are valued, welcomed, and protected - and that culture of life must extend to individuals with disabilities."

At the risk of indulging in profanity, d*** straight!

Yeah, we'll have to see. It really bugs me that they are waiting until Monday to start anything.

I think the politicians are just hoping Terri will die prematurely and that this whole thing will blow over before the '06 elections.

And to imagine, people were in tears about how hanging was inhuman not that long ago here in my state so we stopped that practice! Hanging is more humane than starvation. Why doesn't Greer just sentence her to have her nexk stretched while he's at it.

Mark has Sean and Delay on right now.

Liberal Hypocrisy Alert

Feminist Daily News Wire
August 9, 2001

Reaction of Eleanor Smeal, President, Feminist Majority Foundation to President Bush's Decision on Stem Cell Research

President Bush's decision unnecessarily restricts embryonic stem cell research. As Christopher Reeves has stated, these restrictions will inevitably slow medical progress and impede research for finding treatments and cures for serious illnesses.

Rather than being careful and cautious, Bush's decision is irresponsible. Americans should not be fooled: this is no compromise. Bush is allowing political calculations to interfere with science and medical advances. How did the United States come to a position that the well-being of a few frozen cells is more important than alleviating the suffering of millions of living human beings in the US and worldwide?

While Bush worries about theological implications of the human potential of frozen embryos that will only be discarded, millions of suffering people will have to wait longer or may never find a cure.

Tragically, anti-abortion extremist politics is again interfering with the health and welfare of American women and men. What makes this even more outrageous is the United States -- the richest country on the earth with the largest medical establishment is hindering the development of a promising avenue to treat serious illnesses. How many times will conservative religious interests be allowed to slow human progress? The Roman Catholic hierarchy only at the end of the 20th Century recognized that Galileo in the Middle Ages was right. Can we really afford to wait this long again?

A Senator that Cares

Recently, I read that Senator Barbara Boxer has shown interest in women's health issues. If you would like to contact her to ask for help with MCS issues, you an reach her at: The Honorable Barbara Boxer

btw, at the risk of being misunderstood, that quote in my earlier post was a quote from President Bush, as you make clear in your home page.
