This judge really doesn't count as a pubby or demodog - he's the guy who got the case.
Personally, I believe he ought to have simply ignored everything that HINO said from the start, but he didn't, and got himself invested in that point of view. Nothing is going to change him -
All the pubby legislators have been trying on Terri's behalf. The pubby atty gen is constrained by the law they have been able to pass, and the SCOFLA court managed to thwart them to this point. It is better to train your anger on defeating the opposing side, not those who are working on behalf of your point of view.

Agree with you 100% -- IMO this would be cruel and unusual punishment to someone on death row yet they are doing it to an innocent woman -- this is just sickening.

I fear all of this is political posturing, just like the yapping about the "nuclear option". They'll talk, and talk, and talk, and while they're running their empty headed mouths, Terri will die - alleviating them of the not so insignificant political problem they find themselves smack in the midst of.

I believe that the marshals delivered the paperwork, but they have no power to arrest or enforce unless the court specifically orders that, I am told.

The right to life is the primordial right. It supercedes even state's rights. The United States was formed under that precept. Moreover, Jefferson himself repudiated the view that the courts judgments were final. Never the less Marshall prevailed and here we are. Black Robbed buffoons rule with absolute impunity and they have those such as you as their allies. Separation of powers means judges don't have the prerogative to change the law or make new law. Euthanasia is a criminal offense, and euthanasia is what is being practiced here under an illicit judicial fiat.

Tom Delay just told Hannity that the Judge will be held in contempt. He sounded defiant and said that no judge in a state court is going to usurp the Congress.
Notice how SCOFLA got involved in this like they did the 2000 election? Why would anyone pay attention to anything that bunch was involved with -- obviously Florida voters didn't get rid of them after 2000!
We will do everything blah bla blah, no little judge will usurp authority of Congress blah blah blah.
