IMO - as much as we pray and hope our children save themselves - the realization is that they are probably active before marriage - many of us were as well -

I believe that's what the article was trying to convey. The Teen Bible talked about these activities to let the kids know that sexual activity outside of marriage is sinful and that oral sex IS sexual activity. They are hearing, out in the world, that it is NOT sex, so maybe they're confused about the nature of the activity. They need to be guided, that's the whole point, not only about sex, but lots of other activities that are sinful that have nothing to do with sex.
The Saturday quickie you describe sounds more like a selfish act of gratification than good stewardship of the gift of sexual love that God gives to us.
Not to condemn you - but to point out that our failure to always do what is right/righteuous is simply evidence of the fall, and it should not be offered as an excuse or justification for our sin.
