President Bush is traveling to two Florida cities today to talk about Social Security Reform. I hope they follow him around with a proposed bill or maybe a pardon.

Bush has no authority to intervene here. This is his brother's jurisdiction.

I have to say that I am amazed at the number of conservatives who are chomping at the bit to have state matters turned over to the federal government.

And, of course, this involves writing more bills, which will eventually make it to the judiciary.

Everything decided judicially, up to this point, according to some, has been illegal.

Therefore, that's the reason we need to continue to involve the judiciary.

As you have said, Big Sky, the Constitution is now a living document, meant to be twisted according to the whims of whatever the emotion of the moment is, as long as the result comes out in our favor.

Just remember this the next time liberals and libertarians make a determined effort to legalize gay marriage.

NOW HEAR THIS...NOW HEAR THIS...HEAR YE...HEAR YE...ALL WHO WILL LISTEN...

I as a conservative _____ well better be protected from the fate that Judge Greer has inflicted upon Terri Schiavo.

My federal constitional rights and my government at ALL LEVELS had better afford me the protection and due process necessary not to deprive me of my life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

The FL Judiciary are renegades; they violate their own state laws while claiming that their state law demands Terri be put to death. Greer is breaking the law by even being on this case. He is breaking the law by acting as Terri's Guardian ad litem while judging her case at the same time. Heck, he didn't even comply with the laws in order to qualify himself to sit on the bench.

And a close buddy of the judge, the former Sheriff, Rice, who has always refused to investigate any lawbreaking against Terri's welfare, hired Michael Schiavo to work at the county jail. After employing the mother of his fiancee there for ten years. Just a small example of the corrupt good ol boy network trying to kill Terri.

And the lot of them are bound up in the hospice medicaid fraud, and the Euthanasia movement loudly proclaimed by attorney Felos and Dr. Ronald Cranford, who is the one hired by Michael to see Terri, who saw how well she performed, as the whole world has seen, then sent a report to Greer essentially saying she should be killed because she was hopelessly vegetative.

Then Greer ignored all the other board certified neurologists and other doctors who swear she is nothing of the kind.

No, my government at all levels better protect me from the likes of these evil crooks who would want to kill me on the word of an evil crook of an estranged husband, not on my word. And if the state level refused to protect me, then the federal had better.

As a conservative who believes in the constitutional protections of this nation, I DEMAND IT!!!!!!!!!

Terri's right to live is in no way connected to gay marriages.

She has a right to live in the United States of America. The state of Florida is trying to take our most basic right away from Terri.

After we save Terri, I intend to continue fighting to guarantee our "right to live" and prevent any other cases where a lowly circuit court judge has the supreme authority to take away anyone's right to live, especially the disabled who cannot speak for themselves.

I don't think there's a valid comparison between the action of the Federal government in preventing the murder of disabled person under contradictory and suspicious judicial circumstances ON THE LAST DAY and gay marriage.

I agree 100% Like I said, the way this is being fought, sets a dangerous precedent for the future, and basically gives the gay lobby an argument to legalize gay marriage. The gay rights lobby has been using the civil rights act, there is no question they'll use this as an example to get what they've been wanting. For the Terri supporters to get what they want, they're engaging in the same sort of behavior the Liberals have been engaged in since George W. Bush won the election in 2000.
