Yes, I have ridden a mule to school also and was about the same age. The school I attended back then had a few more pupils but not many more. Riding a mule to school was more fun than riding a school bus.

Well trained mules are better and more faithful than horses. Mules are truly smart. They will bond forever with a good owner. Needless to say, I love mules and donkeys, too.

I own horses too....and love them as well, but mules and donkeys are a step up on the IQ.

While this is a wonderful, warm story and wish I could have done the same when I was in school, I never would have allowed a story like this to get into the newspapers for fear of my daughter’s safety. Gads. There are too many nuts out there. She is now a sitting duck for any pervert.

Donkey's rule! I have six.
they are in the middle of nowhere and unless the crops are growing, the parents can see her the entire two mile trip. (especially with binoculars)
Why did they advertise this? Some nut is going to kill the mule now......
