A French woman fatally shot investment banking mogul Edouard Stern "in the course of sexual relations," Swiss authorities charged yesterday.
Stern, 50, was found dead in his Geneva apartment March 1, clad head to foot in a latex suit and shot four times, twice in the head.
The woman was not identified.
Stern and the suspect had a relationship for many years, authorities said ...........
"The motives are not completely clear," the Tribune de Geneve reported. "They could be of a financial nature, as the suspect had recently been in a lawsuit with Stern, but also of a personal nature."
After her arrest Tuesday, the woman acknowledged the facts of the case.........
Swiss authorities believe the woman, who had a key to Stern's high-security apartment, acted alone in the murder.
The apartment is upstairs from a police station, but no officers reported hearing the shots.
Estranged from his wife and three children in New York, Stern had lived for several years in Geneva, where he operated an $800 million investment company.
He was the son-in-law of Michel David-Weill, president of the Lazard Freres banking firm.

I dunno, is it just me, or did this dude take "protection" too far? I mean, head-to-toe latex? Man, his semen was going nowhere (snicker).

"They could be of.......a personal nature." Well, maybe she just didn't like having to wear a leather hood and chains while Stern was in his latex suit.

The UK Telegraph had an article with extensive biographical information including this nugget:
Edouard Stern's only known hobby was a passion for game shooting and collecting guns.
Well, that and dressing up in rubber suits.

I have no idea what possible thrill anyone could get out of wearing a latex suit. Obviously my education has been lacking in some areas...

Looks like Planned Parenthood will have to take body condoms off the list of its approved fail-safe contraceptive devices.
