The U.S. House passed legislation late yesterday to delay removal of the feeding tube that is keep- ing alive a brain-damaged woman whose husband has been given permission by a state court to allow her to die.
The House bill, passed on a voice vote, would move such a case to federal court. Federal judges have twice turned down efforts by Schiavo's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, to move the case out of Florida courts, citing a lack of jurisdiction.
Republicans in the U.S. Senate are introducing a separate bill to give Schiavo and her family standing in federal court, and they hope it can be debated today, a GOP aide said.

I was only trying to answer your post #13 where you asked the difference between a hospital and hospice. Some people really don't know.
We are . So what. She is worth it.
I am also under palliative care, albeit not hospice. So, do you want to kill her or move her to a more appropriate facility?
What gets me mad is that they are taking this loser husband's(if that is what you wanna call him, I personally have other choice words for him)word that Terri said she wanted to die if she ever got into a situation like she is in..isn't it funny how for just about everything else in a court of law you have to have a written document??? I personally think he wants her to die because HE had something to do with why she is disabled in the first place...Terri's parents were on Larry King one night and they said that in some medical report the doctor noted that there were marks on her neck similar to strangulation....because lets face it, if he really loved her he wouldn't have cheated on her and moved in with another woman and had kids with her...something is very wrong here. God needs to intervene, and He will if we keep praying for that senate bill to get passed by Thursday.
You jumped into the middle of a fight and got hit with a stray shot.
I apologize, it was my shot. It was intended for others.
The Schindlers house would be nice, don't ya think? I bet they have room! :)
Dudette. :)
Should read: "husband has been given permission by a state court to allow him to kill her."
A feeding tube does not constitute life support.
can you spare a few dollars for that?
That is a GREAT piece of work. Perfect in theme and production.
One of my privileges is lots of time to read and research. Do your research on Schindler before you recommend him to anyone. What makes a (good?) movie is rarely truth.

What section of the Constitution empowers Congress to take this action?
Go to personal reply and sit this one out.
The Schindlers are Terri's parents. They want her with them.
One of the privileges of my condition is plenty of time to read and research. I suggest you research Herr Schindler before you recommend him. What made a Hollywood triumph was far from the truth.

They're so generous with other people's money, aren't they?
