The U.S. House passed legislation late yesterday to delay removal of the feeding tube that is keep- ing alive a brain-damaged woman whose husband has been given permission by a state court to allow her to die. Should read: "husband has been given permission by a state court to allow him to kill her."
A feeding tube does not constitute life support.

It's called a Gastronomy Tube, and if the MEDIA used the name, it would be technically incorrect to then refer to it as LIFE SUPPORT.
See, FEEDING TUBE is more ambiguous and open to interpretation by those with little medical knowledge.
