Are you 100% sure? I had read somewhere from a place that escapes me that they had found the weapon, they had recovered the filed off serial number and that it belonged to Blake and was reported stolen.
Now for it to be a lie, I would have to have deliberately planted wrong information and if I'm wrong I'll admit it. LEt me see if I can find the source.
That's why I though he would be found guilty.

I also heard that from one of the 24 hour cable news outlets so time ago. But only recently heard that the gun was never found.

The weapon was found, a Walther PPK, but no link to Blake was ever found, and you can bet they left no stone unturned trying to find one.
