Well, you can't officially have a name unless you have a birth certificate.

Connor was found outside Lacy's womb, albeit with the cord attached, presumably, like Macduff, untimely ripp'd.

Although I appreciated the obscure reference, there IS a difference between California case law and Shakespeare.
