TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- A state appeals court has refused to block the expected removal of Terri Schiavo's feeding tube on Friday.
If I was in Terri's position and was privy to know what my "dear devoted husband" was up to, I would be screaming for someone to get me out of that place and try real therapies.
I would be praying every day for people like Free Republic to rally those to help me out of hell.
Phonetically they are similar. The word stress patterns, however, are often very different [nonstressed stressed for the affirmative; stressed nonstressed for the negative].
Simple: it didn't happen.
If Terri dies in the next week, that's God's will too. It is also God's will to tally this grevious murder to the sin-account of those responsible. They are storing up wrath for themsleves against Judgment Day. Or perhaps they will turn to God later, greatly magnifying His grace shown to such heinous transgressors (and we, by the way, are no better in potential in our own black and wicked hearts). That's not for us to know.
What is for us to know: a Christian can only defend Terri, an innocent woman, and here's why: God's revealed will is "Thou shalt not kill" (Exo. 20:13). God is His OWN spokesperson in this case, and the commandment is very clear, black and white.
Soli Deo Gloria
I'd want to be at home with loving parents and have them turn on a TV news report that the Monster was safely locked away.
You've made a definitive statement of His intentions. I pray, for the sake of your soul, that you do not prophesy falsely.
I am not going to buy into the hysteria that this will become some kind of armed insurrection.
jmc813 was speaking of kidnapping Terri Schiavo; I was pointing out that kidnapping her from the midst that much LEO activity would turn into an armed insurrection. Sorry that reality bothers you that much.
You're a smart man.
ORECON. I bet that translates into another word.
Hmmmm...we had a psycho troll "etanoissapmoc" (compassionate spelled backward) who was a true ringer for the nazi death camp side.
Yes, that is probably true. Since I understand the Scriptures to provide that the Sovereign God has, in the exercise of His own sovereignty, committed to us a free will and since Scripture contains no proscription on ending one's life (unsupported RCC dogma to the contrary notwithstanding), were I in Terry's condition, I would have been longing for Heaven for 15 years now. Not even a close question for me.
You should. I often wonder what an athiest says after he dies and finds out God exists after all. And, I don't want to hear you aren't an athiest. You act like one you liberal POS.
And, maybe to teach you a lesson, you will become incapacitated and forced to rely on others around you making decisions and talking right in front of you and you can't do garbage about it.
Who gives a rats tail what you have in writing? Maybe a court like Greers will go against your very written wishes.
You are DU for sure. You don't see the chain reaction of death that this will cause.
So, stop harping about your "wishes in writing, blah, blah blah". There will come a time when you own written wishes won't mean jack and you will pay the price with torture.
I long for Heaven every day of my life, and I still have my health.

For some reason (Firefox?) can't hotlink it. Sorry.
Another idiot.
Terri "isn't on her way home". She isn't even close to dying.
If I were totally brain damaged like Terri what would I want? hhhhmmmm I've told my family to park me in front of a tv with my video tapes playing non-stop. I've also told them not to starve nor dehydrate me to death. I suppose I could take some time out for rehab therapy
Oh stop it.
As far as preaching God's intention, you distort deliberately.
READ CAREFULLY AND SLOWLY SO YOUR DON'T HURT YOUR BRAIN:
I DO NOT SPEAK FOR GOD. I SREAD HIS WORD WITH GOOD WILL AND A PURE HEART.
Get serious. Most Christians understand that the state has the right, under God and without contravention of Ex 20:13, to administer the death penalty to, inter alia Scott Peterson. Moreover, most Christians understand that we have the right to use deadly force in a just war and in just law enforcement without contravention of Ex 20:13. [I believe that even phantasmagorical RCC dogma would allow that.]
So, the citation of Ex 20:13 (more properly translated "You shall not murder") begins the inquiry, it does not end it. Those who glibly cite Ex 20:13 for support of their political argument are really echoing unsupported RCC dogma, not the Scriptures.
You have the GALL to compare Terri's plight with SCOTT PETERSON?????????
Sad to be you.
You said, and I quote: He will intervene.
That is a definitive statement of His intent.
If that's not speaking for Him, please tell me what is.
I SREAD HIS WORD WITH GOOD WILL AND A PURE HEART.
Written two sentences after:
READ CAREFULLY AND SLOWLY SO YOUR DON'T HURT YOUR BRAIN
Better work a wee bit more on that good will thingie.
hey, does our reply qualify as "putting it in writing"?
I SAID IT ON THE BASIS OF FAITH.
Don't you know the DIFFERENCE?
