My wife just called me. She had an ultrasound done this morning. We are having twin girls. All seems healthy. Any suggestion names? I will post pictures asap. Thanks for all the prayers and support.
I always liked that song...
Regards,
I always liked that song...but do you remember
Jennifer Juniper
Lived upon a hill.
Jennifer Juniper,
Oh, she lives there still...
My mom used to sing that one to me all the time when I was a kid. Haven't heard it on the radio in many, MANY years.
Regards,
Mrytle and Myra!
Claire
Amanda
Jane (believe it or not)
Emily
Amelia
Just, whatever you do, PLEASE don't name them Madison, Brittney or anything that's spelled differently than what it sounds like!

Yup. Donovan. It has to be a minimum of 30 years -- no, make that 35 -- since I heard it.
Amazing how you can remember the words to songs you heard when you were very young, isn't it?
Regards,
Yeah. But try to remember where I put my keys????
Laura and Georgine (Gina for short)
Ran= great movie.
Lady Kaede though.... she makes Regan and Goneril look like doves.
Kurosawa's women, when they do take part in the action, are positively frightening. (Doesn't he know any NICE girls?)
I liked this post; we have the same tradition. Typically, the firstbon son is named after the paternal grandfather, the firstborn daughter is named after the paternal grandmother, the second son is named after the maternal grandfather, and the second daughter is named after the maternal grandmother.
It's a wonderful way of preserving family history and traditions.
We try to work in both sets of grandparents - my daughter is named after both grandmothers, as well as THEIR grandmothers who both happened to have the same name.
