** I don't need to. I've experienced the other side of racism before. I wouldn't compromise myself to fit in. I've certainly paid a price for that stance in the past, but I'm in my early thirties and have seen my decisions bear fruit. I know exactly what's behind that sort of double speak and compromising though. It's all has to do with Maslow's hierarchy of needs and the most important need to belong.
