Think about that for a while.

** I don't need to. I've experienced the other side of racism before. I wouldn't compromise myself to fit in. I've certainly paid a price for that stance in the past, but I'm in my early thirties and have seen my decisions bear fruit. I know exactly what's behind that sort of double speak and compromising though. It's all has to do with Maslow's hierarchy of needs and the most important need to belong.

There's probably something to that. But more as well, too. (Example: Halle "Black" Berry who has zero to say about her white mama, and manages, post-Oscar/$15mil salaries, to cry "Racism!".)

 

I find it all quite heartbreaking.
