A pensioner beheaded by an axeman in a London street was a homosexual who led an " alternative" lifestyle, it emerged today.
Brian Messitt, 67, died after a frenzied attack in Belsize Park on Monday morning.
It was revealed he had spent much of the past 10 years in India and became openly gay after splitting from his wife. Distraught relatives of Mr Messitt spoke for the first time as Joseph Sheehan, 37, a waiter from Camden, was due to appear today at Highbury Corner magistrates' court charged with his murder. Mr Messitt's brother Desmond, 57, said: "I just can't accept this has happened. Brian spent a lot of his time in India. He led an alternative lifestyle."
Pol ice sources say that diaries and personal papers show that the two men knew each other - but they are still mystified as to what the connection was between them.
Mr Messitt had been living with son Sean and his girlfriend at their flat in Hampstead.

Sounds like an all-male Alfie. The 67-year-old beheadee found a younger lover, driving his 37-year-old ex into a frenzy.
You've got a point, but consider that the first reports specifically said "beheaded." That alone points in the direction of the first suspicions - especially when Britain is in the throws of widespread Muslim violence and crime. In all, NOT unreasonable.
However, since the perp whacked the guys head into "mush" it is far more likely to be a crime of one kook to another. The fault for misunderstanding, IMO, lies with the crappy reporting in the clueless press.

Well now, that's not for sure. In my neck of the woods, a RAT politician recently noted that there were 12 - count 'em - 12 different genders. So our alternative feller here could be doing the horizontal tango with at least 11 other flavors beside his own. Of course, animals, minerals and mechanical devices are not taken into consideration for the purposes of this discussion.
Hmm - Indian culture is far from accepting of homosexuality or other sexual deviance. Of course, there are wackos everywhere and the "gay" agenda pushers are internationalists.

Odder and odder. How many beheadings are there going to be this week? Was the one where the murderer ate the brains also a homosexual? I couldn't stand to read the article so I don't know.
A comment or two about the surprising number of horrible murderers (and cannibals) who were also homosexual... Hmmmm.
Moral - stay away from those with "alternative" lifestyles.
