The Liberty Amendment

AMENDMENT 28

1. The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution is hereby altered to read in its entirety, “The right of the People to Keep and Bear Arms Shall Not Be Infringed.”

2. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms is abolished. The regulatory duties of the Bureau relating to Alcohol will be transferred to the FDA.

3. The Fourteenth Amendment to this Constitution is hereby repealed. Citizenship shall depend upon parentage; if one parent is a citizen, the child is a citizen; if neither is, then the child is not. Naturalization is still open as a means of obtaining citizenship. Dual citizenship with any nation is forbidden to U.S. citizens, and U.S. citizens may not vote in elections in foreign nations.

4. The word, ‘person’ shall be altered to read ‘citizen’ throughout this constitution. “Persons” have rights at the pleasure of the several states and the federal government; “citizens” have inalienable rights enumerated in this Constitution.

5. The borders shall be secured against illegal entry. The National Guard and citizen militias shall enforce this measure.

6. The Seventeenth Amendment to this Constitution is hereby repealed.

Bad move. Rights come from God, not the Constitution. Citizenship is not a qualifier.
