This is Terri when she was still being cared for after her collapse. Tell me why she should be starved? Or why Schiavo insists she should be? Does this look like a rutabega?

No kidding, (I did not know about that...when did that happen?) Michael is such a senseless jerk! and what is with the $700,000 he recieved? what exactly is it for? his own personal enjoyment or money that was supposed to go into medical bills?

Schiavo spoke about pulling his parents feeding tubes on Larry King. One of his parents starved in '98 I think and the other in 2000 but I'm not exactly sure of the years.

Judge Greer gave Schiavo permission to use the trust fund to pay attorneys fees in his fight to remove the feeding tube.

Not at all. She looks very conscious and alert to me.

I posted on other threads that for her sake I hope she is PVS because if she isn't just image the hell she has lived for the past 15 years.

What a lonely existence to be consious and unable to move or communicate in any effective way. If only enough to turn on the tv so she has something to occupy her time instead of being in a room all by herself day after day with nothing or no one to keep her company.

If she is conscious she must be mad by now. It's like being in solitary confinment for 15 years.

The possibilities are frightening.

Michael seemed really desparate tonight. His outrage was phoney. He dripped contempt for pro-life people, Jeb and George Bush. It's all the anti-abortion peoples' fault.

And once again, nary a word about most of the money going to HIS attorney to kill her. She has no legal representation other than her parents' willingness to put themselves through 15 years of hell trying to save their daughter.

I almost thought Chris Bury acted like he saw through Michael's motives which I did not expect. He did ask a couple of hardball questions which really seemed to come from his heart and not from a script.

FELOS: Michael didn't receive those funds. Those were received in Terri's guardianship and it was a bank who was her guardian of the property that administered those funds."

I couldn't help but laugh when Felos jumped in to (ahem) "correct" Mikey about the money. Methinks Mikey flubbed his lines. The transcript doesn't do it justice. Felos sounded as startled as someone who just had a rattler drop on his lap.

Observations: Mikey looked zoned out to me. Is this what possession looks like? Also, he seemed to have a lot of trouble remembering his memorized lines. Bottom line - just the usual pack of lies.

SCHIAVO: Removing somebody's feeding is very painless. It is a very easy way to die. Probably the second better way to die, being the first being an aneurysm. And it doesn't bother me at all. I've seen it happen. I had to do it with my own parents.

My point was that they, her parents and husband, seem to have legitimate positions.

This is or should be about what Terri wants or wanted.

With that established then the question remains whether or not a feeding tube is considered artificial life support.

I guess that is why this has dragged on for 15 years. These questions are not easily answered.
