I wish I had known in advance that this idiot was here...he might have received a good FReepin'! I will be meandering around the music venues for the next couple of weeks, so hopefully I will run into him. Of course, many of the folks attending SXSQ are bigtime liberals who love Al.

Franken knows Texas is conservative country but he says listeners are catching on. Five Texas stations have picked his show up.

Austin's not. He picked a friendly venue.

Yeah, I hear Franken is really setting the radio world ON FIRE with his awesome new talk show. LOL.

I think Laura is going to be at SXSW, starting tomorrow. She'll be making other appearances in Austin.

The dopes investing in this perennial loser's adventures are either severly comatose or have absolutely no desire whatsoever to get a return on their investment.

...Franken has a new character these days, talk radio host. But the role is no joke....

No, it's a joke. :-)

I'll be up at SXSW myself. Not sure which day. Be hanging with the Roots Music Report folks. If you see us, be sure and introduce yourself.

You're right about the majority of folks attending being a bunch of liberal losers. It isn't my cup of tea, but I will make a token appearance just to touch base with some friends from out of state who will be there.

I heard the Frankenfraud yesterday. And he was trashing Texas like a good Minnesotan.

BTW, I live in Minnesota, I have a business in Minnesota, but DO NOT EVER call me a Minnesotan.

Al Franken is best known for his role as self-help guru Stuart Smalley

His highpoint of artistic achievement.

Now I'm really glad our daughter is skipping SXSW this year. She's in Austin for Spring Break but said this year's linup just didn't impress her and the whole deal's getting too commercial...no kidding, if Franken-roid gets onstage.

BTW, as a Tech grad I was impressed when the Longhorn fans in KC cheered for the Red Raiders against OSU Sunday...
pure class, and true to Texas! Thanks & go get Nevada.
