It didn't start with Maynard -- Atlanta has been corrupt since reconstruction. It's long past time to dissolve the city charter.
So what is it that keeps Atlanta corrupt? I don't know Atlanta history far back. Was Charlie Brown's administration corrupt? Sam Massell's admin?
I'd like to tiptoe around the racist card, because I am a white Southerner who doesn't want to be accused of being racist, but I've just got to wonder: Did Atlanta get corrupt when the black Atlantans got hold of the city?
