The successful education of these young people depends on Aztlan's ability to integrate a meaningful Chicano Studies program into their lives, language, and academics, as a means of developing their intellects as well as their pride and self-esteem.I'm pretty sure that a "meaningful white Euro STudies curriculum" would have had nothing to do with my husband's success in his career. It was hard work, talent and choosing a computer science field that pays well.
If only these stupid, stupid ethnic multi culti freaks would lay off the culture and encourage their people to excel in business, the sciences or some other field that you can actually make money at. The only thing you can do with a Chicano Studies education is be a Chicano Studies teacher or a perpetually angry (and poor) activist.

Home Depot has a contact page. It says "send us an e-mail". I just contacted them to tell them I would shop elsewhere.

It is getting to the point that if we boycott stores because of who they support we won't be shopping anywhere. Seems as if every store supports someone or something that we disagree with.
There are economic (non-vigilante) weapons that have not been well utilized in this WAR. Ironic in the context urging Minority Shareholder involvement at corporate annual meetings--and FReeping such meetings. Other strategies include shareholder class actions pertaining to legitimate lost sales (unlike the scammers known for using these for greenmail). Hostile takeovers are being done incrementally against us. We should consider these economic weapons to take back ground we have surrounded--or ABDICATED--or had USURPED. We paid for this real estate once. It was General Douglas MacArthur, IIRC, who said he didn't like paying for real estate twice. I concur.

We don't have Lowe's either. I'll just continue going to the local home improvement stores in this area.

dump them both and shop at a real lumber yard/home center. I don't think there are any around my way

Ace, TrueValue, Stones (if you're in S. Georgia)...any of the many fine down-home local ops. who haven't even heard spanish, much less the la raza crap.
To: Indy Pendance
all their signs are in spanish and english. They lost my business forever, well, they never had it. You do not want to visit Ca.
PS Thanks to your daughter and congratulations to you. You must be proud!

Shop at Ace Hardware. Most of them are franchised-owned.
Always do.
To: JustAnAmerican
The whole "La Raza" schtick is ludicrous. Firstly, the members of "La Raza" aren't (a race, that is)--they are MESTIZOS of mixed Caucasian and Mongoloid descent. Secondly, WHY in heaven's name do they want to convert highly economically successful American states into clones of the economically dead Mexican nation???
How stupid can they actually be???
To: xcamel
Lowes is no better - dump them both and shop at a real lumber yard/home center. Agree. Our local hardware store and lumberyard run rings around Home Depot. So far they seem to be doing ok too.

The Ace and True Value stores here are all family owned and operated franchises. I don't have a Lowes or a Home Depot around here. Nearest thing to either one are the higher priced Ace and True Value stores, and a Menard's about 3 hours drive from here.

"Shop at Ace Hardware."
I always try to go to my local TrueValue / Ace Hardware. I am usually in and out in 10 minutes, or less. They have "expert" service people and even load your truck or van at their lumber yard !! The time I save at my local hardware store offsets any few extra pennies I would save at Lowes or Home Depot.
If people would just keep track of the time you actually spend going to the big chains compared to the local hardware store, the difference in price is a non-issue. I will gladly spend a few dollars more to save a 1/2 hour of my day.
And TrueValue/Ace prices are very competative with Lowes/ Depot. In my opinion, its a no-brainer on who to do business with.

I think making individuals other freepers aware of there activities would be just as effective. People would cry foul if they knew, most people have no idea that this group in racist.

Thanks for your report. I've shopped at the Home Depot in the past, but no more.
The last time I was in the store I was a trouble-maker of sorts in that I persuaded a shopper to get out of the self-service check-out and go before a real person. I also tried my darnness to stop a man who was ahead of me in line not to apply for the HD credit card. He did anyway, but my parting shot was "Sorry you didn't take my advice. I'm afraid you'll live to regret your decision."
To: JustAnAmerican
Maybe so, but to support a company that is in partnership with an organization who's goal is the elimination of all non-hispanics and the takeover of the United States Of America is self defeating don't you think?
Just wondering, how will Mexico split of the US with the chinese?
