A Muslim convert to Christianity who discusses his faith with Muslims on a popular Internet chat site has received a death threat.
The threat posted on the New York-based site PalTalk came after a WorldNetDaily column published the man's name and comments on the slaying of four members of a New Jersey Coptic Christian family, reported the weblog Jihad Watch.
The message is similar to others aimed at a number of Christians who are tracked systematically by a radical Islamic website, barsomyat.com.
The target of the threat, Ahmed Mohamed, a convert to the Coptic Christian Church, uses the moniker "Ahmed_love_Jesus" on PalTalk.
The message sent March 6 reads:
Know this, Ahmed_love_Jesus, we tracked you and being in America will not help you. Your blood is lawful and we will kill you soon. If you were with me I would have killed you.
I will know where you are and kill you someday.
Ahmed_Love_Jesus, by the life of your mother's [obscenity deleted], your blood is lawful. We know where you are in America and we will slaughter you like the lamb that you worship.
A WND column March 1 by Maria Sliwa said Mohamed was one of the targeted Christians whose photo and contact information were posted on barsomyat.com because he debated Muslims on PalTalk.
Mohamed told Sliwa that while sometimes afraid, he is prepared to die for his faith.

Islam, they like to tell us, is the world's fastest growing 'religion' - methinks they protest too much. More are leaving TROP than are joining it. Not all have the courage to say so openly.
And don't count forced conversions such as in the Sudan. I saw a documentary where black muslim converts prayed to allah in the evening, and in the morning the arabs came and slaughtered them.
Your answer is very encouraging.
The more Islamofascists are exposed to wide knowledge on the internet, the more will start thinking for themselves like you.
"You have to judge people by their deeds and not by their words."
Yep... but you CAN judge the words by the words ... your logic is simply flawed.
"Suppose Muhammad said killing is bad. Did he live by his own words?"
What does living by his own words have to do with the statement that killing is bad ?
Is that statement less valid now ?
Hey go follow the peaceful Islam and live in the Middle East aka the lnad of beautiful camels and smart donkeys. I am not here to argue logic with you. Did you ever read Quran? Did you ever read the Hadith? Are you not seeing the violence perpetrated by my ex-religion? Where have you been? :)
By the way, even if you "judge words by words", Quran will NOT stand up to an honest scrutinization.
I think you miss the gist of Islam. So there is no point in trying to explain to you. Do you even know what islam is? I am afraid not!
We are preparing to go here and I noticed something similar in this report.
"Finally, the embassy recommends that American citizens, prior to departing their residence in the morning, take a 10-15 second break before walking through the front door to think about what they are doing, where they are going, and how are they going to get there, etc., with regard to your personal security."
Did you ever read Quran?
Only to refute some of the "quotes" I have seen here -
I usually refer to www.submission.org
[49:6] O you who believe, if a wicked person brings any news to you, you shall first investigate,
lest you commit injustice towards some people, out of ignorance, then become sorry and remorseful for what you have done.
Did you ever read the Hadith?
Nope, since that was written by others about 200 years after the Koran, how does it apply ?
But I do have a serious question - can you be a Muslim and follow the Koran, and believe the Haddith is a bunch of crap ?
I've never heard it so well put!
But didn't Jesus openly profess His belief--despite knowing that the consequence would be death? Aren't Christians supposed to emulate Him?
Remember, early Christians strove for martyrdom or suicide to show they thought little of mortal existence compared to the afterlife with God. Of course, it was hard for the Church to be profitable until Augustine of Hippo and a later Council of Brega (circa A.D. 563) changed things.
Interesting that militant Muslims seem to have found a way to make martyrdom pay off for their organization, while Christendom has abandoned its original tenets for about the last two-thirds of its history.
So... going back to the thread... do we judge Christianity by its words, or by what it has become?
