Rice pointedly declined to rule out running for president in 2008 on Friday during an hour-long interview with reporters at WASHINGTON TIMES, top sources tell DRUDGE. Rice gave her most detailed explanation of a 'mildly pro-choice' stance on abortion, she would not want the government 'forcing its views' on abortion... She explained that she is libertarian on the issue, adding: 'I have been concerned about a government role'... Developing late Friday for Saturday cycles... MORE...
Well, they're waiting for ice water in hell, too, but...
It's not like a president can overturn Roe vs Wade.
I disagree. In fact, evangelical Christians are more trouble than they are worth. I say, using their same logic, the GOP should show them the door, not Condi.
She would gain more than she loses.
But it won't stop all the righteous huffing and puffing.
you are not right on that......the evangelicals stayed home in droves in 2000 per Karl Rove and I would say they are not the hard core as much as an important segment.....alot of Republicans are Christians but not evangelicals....
Isn't forcing a woman who was raped to give birth to the product of that act impedeing on her right to pursue happiness?
If you are more interested in "doctrine" than human life, then your soul is sick...
"She would spell the total destruction of the GOP, as there prime core in the last few elections is evangelical Christians"
I disagree. In fact, evangelical Christians are more trouble than they are worth. I say, using their same logic, the GOP should show them the door, not Condi.

Go for it...GOP, listen to your wisemen!
FGS. A woman who thinks exceptions should be made if the mother's life is at stake is NOT a pro abort the way she's being portrayed here.
Most of the people on this thread thinking that excception doesn't matter are men and would NEVER have to face that decision. So easy for all of you.
Who was Doyle? Do you mean Dole?
I'm more convinced than ever that you are one of the oldest trolls in existance...
The man's right - pro-choice is pro-death. No other way to slice it - and that's what is done.
Everyone pro-abortion advocate I've ever met is already alive...hmmmmmmmm. What a coincidence.
>>>Sitting out because of her position on abortion is grossly stupid. Perhaps thats why we are known as the Stupid Party.>>>
LOL!!!
As I have told you repeatedly, the fact that you stalk me just to trash me is a sure sign I'm doing something right.
IMO, there is nothing "libertarian" about denying an unborn child the right to life.
FYI, there is a big dispute among libertarians on this issue.
"Go for it...GOP, listen to your wisemen!"
We just might. You guys are one step below Bush bots. Thank God you no longer wield power.
LOL...typed too fast.
