No matter what Michael did here with the money offer erases the fact that he is a liar and has perjured himself in court over this case.

>>"Michael has said over and over again that this case is not about money for him," Felos said. "It's about carrying out his wife's wishes. There is no amount of money anyone can offer that will cause him to turn his back on his wife."

Uh, he's Catholic and cannot marry unless she dies....

I don't buy this "refusal" one iota.

In the end, Sleezy Schiavo will take the money: $1 million plus the remainder of his seven figure bogus malpractice award. This will all be hidden from public view in a sealed divorce settlement.

Even if the husband did walk away, Felos said, there is still a court order requiring removal of the tube at 1 p.m. next Friday.

What a copout. Obviously, the offer, I assume, would involve a divorce, in which case custody would no longer be his. I can only assume the decision of whether to maintain or withdraw the feeding tube would revert to Terri's parents. I'm shocked to hear he's already turned down a $10M offer. He must really have her best interests at heart (barf).

Michael Schiavo is the "offensive" thing in this case

No. but offer him a little nookie, and he will turn his back in a flash!

"Offensive"?

Shiavo is a man who wants his wife to die miserably and slowly. Anyone who truly cares about another would wish them to go to the Light, yet he demands shades be drawn.

What's offensive is that after all these years the Law doesn't seem to recognize just how Dark that man is.

Other such offers, including one for $10 million, had already been made and rejected by Michael Schiavo, said his attorney, George Felos.

Yeah right. They have nothing in writing from Terri requesting that she not be kept alive. Michael is so full of BS. It is merely his word that she should die.

Thursday's offer, which the husband's attorney labeled "offensive,"

He murders for his own purposes and will not be insulted by a ransom offer. He's a murderer with standards.

Uh, he's Catholic and cannot marry unless she dies....

We're all supposed to believe he wants to adhere to the Church's teachings on marriage? Give me a break! He's already been living with another woman for years, and has kids with her. That he is being allowed to claim any rights as Terri's husband, from either some fabricated moral standpoint or a legal one, is one of the most revolting aspects of this case.

He should have taken the money. It'd be better than being dead which is what I predict he will be if she's allowed to die.

Admin moderator, Yahoo spelled her name wrong, I'd bet they WILL eventually correct it ... its SCHIAVO, not SCIAVO... Can we at least add [Schiavo] at the end of the article title so that when someone searches for articles by name, they find this?

"...will cause him to turn his back on his wife."

This HINO has already turned his back on his wife. He:

-denied Terri medical attention and rehabilitation.
-hired a sleazy lawyer to ram his case through the "JINO Greer Court".
-committed adultery with another woman.
-conceived two children with another woman.
-spent Terri's settlement money on himself and the other woman that was supposed to be spent on Terri's care.

I am sure there is more.

Since all this has happened, my wife and I have discussed it at length. We will be adding it to our living wills as soon as possible.
